Here’s a little more about what they did:
During the month of January, CFCU employees volunteered at Motown Soup, a 501(c)3 organization based in Utica, MI. Our volunteers had an amazing time making 328 chicken noodle soups, 402 tortilla soups and 485 stuffed green pepper soup packages. Outreach & Impact spent the month of March volunteering at Covenant House in Detroit. CFCU employees donated dress down donations as well as “wish list” items for Covenant House residents. Covenant House Michigan (CHM) is a non-profit that provides shelter, educational and vocational programs for youth facing homelessness. Outreach & Impact is an employee-led organization aimed to support local non-profits through volunteering, raising awareness and monetary donations. Outreach & Impact helps implement programs, develop partnerships, and create corporate accountability that meets the needs of Christian Financial members, communities and the credit union movement.
