The Member Identification Program (MIP), Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Act, requires all financial institutions to obtain four pieces of information from potential members. When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, your tax identification number, and other identifying information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your unexpired state issued ID, such as a driver’s license or state ID or other pictured identifying documents as required by law.
The HMDA data about our residential mortgage lending is available online for review. The data shows geographic distribution of loans and applications; ethnicity, race, sex, age and income of applicants and borrowers; and information about loan approvals and denials. HMDA data for many other financial institutions are also available online. For more information, visit the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s website.
